How this calculator works
Conversion rate is the share of your traffic that completes a goal — a purchase, a signup, a lead form,
a booking. Revenue from conversions is conversions × average order value. A conversion-rate
improvement multiplies conversions (and therefore revenue) without needing a single additional visitor —
that's what makes CRO a different lever from traffic growth.
Relative vs. percentage-point improvement: "+10% improvement" on a 2% conversion rate means 2% × 1.10 = 2.2% by default (relative). It does not mean 2% + 10 percentage points = 12% — that would be a percentage-point improvement, a much larger and rarer jump.
Example: 100,000 monthly visitors, 2% conversion rate, $1,000 average order value → 2,000 conversions, $2,000,000 monthly revenue. A +10% relative improvement moves the rate to 2.2%, or 2,200 conversions — 200 more per month, $200,000 in incremental monthly revenue, or $2.4M annualized.
FAQ
Is "+10% improvement" the same as going from 2% to 12%?
No. By default this calculator treats improvements as relative: +10% on a 2% rate is 2.2%, not 12%. You can switch to percentage-point mode if that's what you actually mean.
Does this guarantee I'll get this revenue?
No — this is a financial scenario model, not a prediction or an experiment result. The opportunity score shown is a transparent, rule-based estimate of how promising the opportunity looks, not a probability.
What if I don't know my average order value?
You can enter current monthly revenue instead — AOV is derived automatically. Without either, the calculator still shows the conversion-volume opportunity, just not a dollar figure.
Can I connect this to my real analytics?
Yes — create a free workspace to pull real traffic and conversion data, rank opportunities across pages, campaigns and funnel stages, and save analyses over time.
What this number means
